Whittier Elementary x Salvation Army Coat Distribution Event Description:
Join us in making a difference for Whittier families! We’re hosting a Coat Distribution Event on Saturday, November 22, to ensure every student stays warm this winter. While organizations like Salvation Army provide winter resources, this event is a chance to directly support our school community and meet families where they are.
Volunteer Roles:
Check-In & Verification – Confirm students are enrolled at Whittier using class rosters and student IDs.
Coat Selection & Distribution – Help students find the right size and sign for their coat.
Crowd Flow & Support – Keep lines organized and assist families as needed.
Set-Up & Clean-Up – Prepare the space before the event and restore it afterward.
